Looking from the outside in.

Not wanting to fuel any old debates of the south especially the Little rock 9.
But this sounds kind of like forced desegregation, but on people of the same color, but different idealologies.
It tooks decades for the hate to go away and in some cases it hasn't yet.
Gentle discusion. We do need a fire, if anyone wants to touch it.

This is the type of warfare of Vietnam, and that the Russians faced in Afghanistan. The Tali ban know they can't go toe to toe with a military fighting machine, so they blend into the background, and are simply not found when we attack them. They look like the villagers plowing and working their parcel of land. But when they can they will launch small attack on the weakest positions just for harassment. Meanwhile plan terrorist attacks on other places. How do you win a war of that nature. There is no battle front.
