West Point The "Enemy Camp?!"
West Point The "Enemy Camp?!"
Listening to what he said, I took the phrase "enemy camp" to mean a place where Obama's "politics" wouldn't be well received. As Chris said, a place where GWB was welcomed warmly.
Regardless of what they believe in, Bush seemed to appear to have more concern about the troops and what they were doing. Obama only appears to give the troops weaksauce lipservice.
In this case a "friendly camp" might be downtown Chicago... Really though, I don't think this guy really has many "friendly camps" any more. Funny how even less than a year can change things.
