obviously a HVLP - high volume low pressure, gravity feed

depends on what he likes and how much he's looking to spend, however if he's a sucky painter no good gun will do the work for him

I like the devilvis <- sp

Check out these guys. Lots of information (somewhat poorly organized, but it's there).

I bought a CA Technologies HVLP Jaguar SLP for my woodworking (hobby).

Wow! more than $300 for a spray gun! Never think can be that expensive! but if it help to achive a great work it's money well spend. I'll let know to my friend about it.

Can you see a difference between this CA gun vs more economical you had in the past?

Thanks!

I didn't own a gun before (it's for woodworking). I always hand applied the finish.

I did a lot of research and decided the CAT was the best bang for the buck. There are a lot more expensive ones out there...
