Apparently they found the guy this morning, no details but he was shot and killed by Seattle police.
I hope it was slow and painful.

Rest in peace my brothers and sister. The flock is safe and we have the watch.
Rest assured knowing you fought hard and wounded Clemmons. We ended his threat this morning and will get all who helped him. Thank you for giving the ultimate sacrifice.
Clemmons had an extensive criminal history with 8 felony charges pending in washington and 5 in Arkansas. He had an active felony warrant out of Arkansas at the time he posted bail. He was being held in the Pierce County Jail for several months on charges of assaulting a police officer (punched a sheriff's deputy in the face) and Child Rape 2nd. Don't know why a judge let his bail be set so low but is something the people need to complain about to have the legislature changed. We can only lock them up, not keep them in.
I patrol western washington and the last month has really hit home. First with Tim's murder and the 4 Lakewood Officer's. It could have been any one of us and is disconcerting knowing that someone can hold life so meaningless to assassinate someone.
Clemmons was facing the 3 strikes law when he posted bail. He approached an SPD Officer who was calling in the stolen vehicle he was using when the officer noticed a black male subject approach his cruiser in the rear view mirror. The Officer engaged Clemmons demanding his hands at which point Clemmons ran around the patrol car reaching into his waistband. The SPD Officer fired multiple shots sending Clemmons straight to hell where he belongs.
Now we just have to lock up his friends and family who helped this pathetic excuse for life.
As an Officer it brings comfort knowing that so many regular citizens do care and is a nice reminder since we are usually dealing with the scum of the streets.

The news interviewed a POS dirt bag chick that hung out with Maurice. She said he was really nice and would do anything for anyone, blah, blah. When asked if she had any feelings about the 4 dead officers she said she had no feelings about it.
The news team also pulled up court records in which Maurice and his crew assaulted this girl a year a go or so yet she had no recollection.

Oprah is his sister?... I'll have to try that next time I get pulled over.
We need to go back to the old west days where they are taken and handed right after court.
3 strikes is 2 strikes to many. School talk about a "0" zero tolerance policy how about one with our criminal system?
