Anybody weld?

So Im looking to get back into welding. I think itd be a fun thing to pick back up and do projects at home.Last time I welded was in high school Ive been looking around for welding "starter" kits just to get my feet off the ground. Not looking for anything major though. Was hoping to see if anybody could reccommend some mig welders and tips.

How much are you wanting to spend? I have a Hobart Ironman 210, which is a 220 Volt mig machine. I paid right around $1200 for it and I'm running it with .045 solid wire with 75/25 Argon gas. I love it. I work for a large fabricating shop, and have used all kinds of machines out there.

Ya those high dollar millers are amazing welders. I weld 40 hours a week with them. If your only using it every now then, 5k is not worth it though.

I got a little Lincoln 110/220 portable guy that i adapted to a bottle and cart. for around 600 new, its been well serving. its not great for anything 3/16 or thicker, but not often i need to do a deep pen weld at home.
