Electrical problems 2006 Lariat

Hello fellow members. I purchased a 2006 F150 Supercab Lariat about a year ago. I upgraded from an 1999 F150 XLT. Well, one of the first days I had her, I was driving around enjoying my sunroof. I parked in the driveway and forgot to close the sunroof as I wasn't used to having one. Well as luck would have it a torrential downpoor came rolling thru during the night and soaked the inside of my truck. Fortunately the angle that the rain came in only saturaded the back floor board and my back cup holders. I shopvacced the carpets and thought no harm had been done. Well ever since my truck has been doing some really wierd stuff. 1. Drivers side door is really moody. I have to push at just the right angle and with just the right amount of force or it won't roll up. 2. Power mirros stopped working. 3. Rear electric sliding window stopped working. 4. Both overhead dome lights stopped working within a couple of days of one another. Other than that it runs fine. I was hoping that it would be a simple fuse replacement, but when I was looking in the owners manual to locate the fuse that accociates with the rear slider I noticed that the rear slider fuse also controls the back windows, which are working fine. so I fear the water some electrical damage.

Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You will get a LOT better help if you post in the Electrical forum........all you are going to get in General Discussion is wisecracks.

Time to check the splices in the driver's side door sill.

Here is a newer thread, with the ref to the old ( start of ) threads on the topic.

I would think this is a good place to start. The member that started this thread had a large drink spill ( 32-44 oz ) that caused his problem.
