New Blackwood Owner

Just picked up a nice Blackwood and will need some help with understanding the parts on this truck. Would like to know what is and isn't interchangeable with either the Navigator and/or 150? Interior, motor, undercarriage etc.....any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Maybe you can get the Blackwood owners active again! Those are very nice trucks.

I don't like the grill. Makes it look like a small truck. But everything else is nice. I've never been up close to one. Just seen them up and down the highway.

Seems like I remember forum member Bill Murray had both a Blackwood and a Lightning at one time or another. Maybe he'll chime in with the particulars.

rear suspension is custom to just that truck, not sure about the front
engine is either a 2v or 4v 5.4L 2v is common, 4v is only for lincoln products
interior, alot of custom parts, some common ones as well

They were all 5.4 4Vs. From the C-pillars forward, they're basically the same as a F150 Supercrew.

The bed is some kind of weird plastic-composite fake woodgrain thing, don't get hit in the *** end, it'll easily total the truck out.
