You might be a dumbass if
you think just because you have a brand new Dodge Hemi 4x4 with a 3" lift on 35's, you can cross a road flooded by a overflowing creek.
I know it is dark, but the water is up over the hood of the truck. Driver had to be rescued, and the tow truck guy said "Kiss my ***, I'm not going in there after that tonight!"

This reminds me of a little story;
About 3 years ago we had some massive local flooding. I was coming around a corner and I could see a pretty large "lake" across the road in front of me. So I stopped, and as I was pondering whether it was too deep to make it through, a guy comes up behind me and lays on his horn. I look in my rearview to see him screaming and bitching at me like "I'm the dumbass". So, I pull just a little forward and to the right, and wave the guy past me..... then I just sat there and watched Well, he got deeper.... and deeper.... and deeper.... until about 200 feet out from me, his car stalled, with water over the door line !
He then rolls down his window, and climbs half way out to access his screwed up predicament.
I honked at him, laughed out loud, and waved, as I did a U-turn, and drove away
I still laugh about that, every time I drive by that spot

Hey 4.6, What town is that close to?
We've had so much rain around here, many creeks are over the roads. The river at Camden had crested at 37 feet. Then we got the last storm, so it isn't droping yet.
