My new Chevy neighbor trys to pull his boat...(Many pictures)

Hey yall so its a Saturday up at the lake and I head out of the driveway to go get some gas for the boat. Well I get onto the main road to see my neighbor's Chevy and boat looking like this in another guys driveway:

Needless to say I thought it was hysterical. So one of the guys down the street brings his tractor down and couldn't get the boat to budge, couldn't lift it and didn't want to risk ruining the driveway anymore than it was. Wrecker service comes out in a f250 and gets the boat put back on the driveway and the Chevy owner pulls up more and jumps out of his truck. Well being a Chevy owner he didn't put the truck in park or close the door and the door backs into a 4x4 post...

And I'll throw a picture in of my truck real quick, had to take a few of mine since it was just sitting there:

About 2 and a half hours after my neighbor planned to be on the water fishing, he finally got there. Just $50 down from the tow truck and a broken driver side door. Don't even know why he was turning into the neighbors driveway in the first place. But it made for an interesting morning.

Damn, hopefully he didn't get skunked fishing or else he had a REALLY bad day. Was he backing it in that driveway? Or pulling out and didn't swing the turn wide enough? From the looks of the damaged driveway, he was pulling it out but wasn't sure if that was caused by him trying to get the boat back up on the road. That's a really nice boat BTW.

I think he could have backed up and gotten away with nothing more than some gouged asphalt.

Man just when you think you screw up enough you do it a little bit more. Nice way to throw a pic of your truck in there

He first pulled into the driveway to try and turn around, I don't even know why. The door was broken after he pulled forward to get the trailer wheels back on pavement and the truck rolled back into a 4x4.

He tried to put gas into it, tires just spun. Was nothing doing. And the owner of the driveway just had that part of the driveway redone a few months ago.

and the man who went and got the tractor to try and help him out, came back with it and said "Well you know what the problem here is right? Your trying to pull a boat with a Chevrolet." Totally added to my morning so much.

LOL so much for "LIKE A ROCK". I used to work at a trailer manufacturing
plant and boy was it funny to see people take their first turn with a 40 ft trailer.
