Florida vs. LSU
Florida deserved the win, they definitely played a better game. However their only touchdown was on a cheap play by the wide receiver.
Can't blame LSUs defense for the loss. They desperately need a quarterback.

one word......QUARTERBACK....and i just dont get it, he's talented as hell, but looks even more scared than talented...also have to throw some blame on our off. coordinator...dont think he's calling plays to help the QB out very much...good thing is we didnt have to win this game to stay in the title hunt...bad thing is if we don't find an offense, we may finish the season below .500
LSU's offensive line was definitely offensive. Too many false start's and no run or pass blocking. Also Jefferson who has a lot of talent need's to make quicker decisions but he's only 19 and not ready for "prime time"! Florida is too tough a team to make any mistake's when playing them and expect to beat them. Florida vs Bama game should be great!
I don't want to stir up any more boring SEC is the best conference ever debates, but I don't think a one loss SEC team will really be in the hunt if UF goes undefeated. Plus, if you don't win your conference, should you really be playing for the title?
It's only the weak conferences that don't play a Championship game. To get to the National Championship game out of the SEC, you have to play the best in the conference, sometimes twice.
True (all except for that weak conference nonsense, I'll let that one go...).
I don't see LSU beating Florida if they get the chance at the end of the year, especially not if Tebow is fully recovered. They looked good on defense but couldn't match Florida's offense. Geez, I'm sounding like a UF homer... that's scary
I gotta stop.

I gotta stop.Did you happen to watch LSU against Georgia Tech last year? Even with a true freshman QB, they handled them easily. 38-3. Does that count as a quality non-conference win?
LSU is every bit as good a team as Florida, just without a Tebow type quarterback. Their most experienced QB is a 19 year old sophomore.

The game was ugly for both sides. FL still showed how they're cheap (repeated non-called false starts by the center, the PI on the TD by their wide receiver, running Tebow in the middle with less than 2:00 in the game).
As for LSU, why the hell did they continually look to the sideline for their call? Get in a huddle, run a play in, and run it! LSU's offense severely lacks leadership and testicular fortitude from the O-coordinator on down. Their D is perfectly fine.
I hope Miles runs Crowton out of town after this season; with the talent they have on offense, they shouldn't be struggling to score TD's.

Its your opinion on the "non-called false starts by the center" but i guess the officials and rest of NCAA rules comittee disagree.
I'll give you the PI on the TD pass. The DB was still beat though.
In regards to running tebow up the middle, its called the option, i'll let you figure that one out.
I also disagree that the defense is fine. Florida ran the ball straight up the middle all game. Tebow didn't win the game this year, the rest of the team stepped up and won. LSU's d-line continuously were blown off the ball. LSU does have a quick 2° but you need more than speed to beat the # 1 team in the country.
GO GATORS!
Always going to be some haters for the best team in the country.

Were you watching the same game I was? FL didn't run up the middle ALL game. Lots of option to to outside as well. The D-line was handled some, but not continously, either.
Hope LSU wins out to meet FL in Atlanta for the Championship. FL won't see the same LSU team again.
BigTRQ, I hate to say it, but that corner was burnt even without the PI...The only difference without the PI is that the corner would have at least been within' 5 yards of the reciever when he caught the ball, but a touchdown none the less (this coming from a hardcore tiger fan) And the D-line did get handled 85% of the game...but that was to be expected...Both of our lines are the 2nd weakest part of the team (a distant 2nd to our QB) Also, an equal amount of blame should be placed on Miles and Crowton...personally, I wish Crowton was gone....The offensive game plan has been pathetic this season and hasnt done much to compliment a nervous/unsettled QB like JJJ....Miles needs to step up and tell the OC to get his stuff together or prepare to pack @ the end of the season....There's no way in hell that we should have a mediocor "AT BEST" offense with the talent we have...Also, we have tremendous athletes on the sidelines that should be recieving more playing time...time will tell, but if our offense doesnt improve drastically, we may end up finishing the season .500 or below
I don't think you have to worry about LSU winning out and going to the sec championship because they won't get passed Bama !! It will be Alabama and Florida in the championship game and the winner of that game will most likely go on to win the national championship. And no, I'm not a fan of either. Just 2 very talented teams.
