Worst Cars of the Decade
Quad 4's may have been strong running, but they were maintenance headaches. My sister went through 2 timing chains in hers in less than 60k - in a 92 Grand Am. They would wear and it would start sounding like a diesel at idle. I guess the later models with balance shafts ran a lot smoother and quieter.
Chevy Avalanche– Butt ugly from any angle. Yet I see quite a few. Stupid Chevy fans.
Pontiac Aztec– What exactly is it? Two cars stacked on top each other?
Mercedes R class– Every time I see one I think, where's the funeral?
Dodge Caliber– We got stuck with one of these things when we were on Kauai a few years back. BIG piece of junk, noisy motor, couldn't see out of the thing to save my life. FAIL.
Honda Ridgeline– I sorta wanted to like this thing when it debuted, but sorry– its just frickin' ugly. It looks worse than the first generation Prelude. The bed will haul at least 3 bags of groceries though. Or a bicycle. Diagonally.
Lexus SC–second generation. The first gen SC was an attractive bar of soap. This car is not. $75,000 bathtub. FAIL.
Rolls and Bentley sedans– Come on. Isn't it time to call it quits on these Panzers?
BMW 4 gen. 7 series– What were they smokin' in Munich when they actually decided to release this one? The prior 7 was understated and very slick, still looks excellent.
