Motivation for writing a paper

GOD! Yeah just a little rant. I have 3 page paper on Susan Glaspel's "Trifles" due Tuesday. I have ABSOLUTELY NO motivation to write it. The Teacher is douche. He's an arrogant young guy who teaches High School English during the day and College English classes at night. He gave me a D on my last paper because "I didnt cite the text enough". I did quote the text, and that assignment was only a 5 paragraph essay? Hell, I guess I might as well just have made the whole essay quotes about the reading. He also stated I didn't "Build up" to the points I was making in a 5 paragraph essay? I can't stand people who do not make sense and spend their life teaching because they can't do anything else. If I ran the world, you couldnt teach till after the age of 40.

Anyway, anyone wanna write a paper for me?

Welcome to college bro.

Only advice I have for you is, start a paragraph with a few sentences about a new idea or point, then support it with a quote from the book, then finish the paragraph with a few more sentences explaining the quote and relating it to your idea/point.

Just suck it up and do what the professor says. You're only going to have to deal with this guy for a semester, so just do what he says and move along with life. This is such a small thing to be stressed about.

I haven't read the book, but a friend did. I think it deals with social injustice and some women trying to cover up a murder. Just use the Dixie Chick's "Goodbye Earl" as your quotes and parallels. HA!!!!!

This isn't my "Welcome to College" attitude. I'll be a senior at the end of this semester. I would have graduated had I not switched Majors. Just this guy's a *****. I have never liked English and I do my best. It just kills me though my best is a "D". I thought my second paper would be better then my first and I got a "B" on my first. Just doesn't make since. Also knowing this upcoming week is probably one of my busiest of the year it wouldn't be so bad.
BUT, the way my college does it, they do 2 classes, 2 hours, 2 nights a week, for 8 weeks. Then you change giving you 4 classes in 16 weeks. I only have this guy for 1 more week. Then finals.

Now, I gotta go illegally download (Cuz I wouldn't pay for their crap) some Dixie Chicks and get drunk.

That's how they make extra money. They "write" a book then require it for the class so you HAVE to buy it and they get part of the profit. That's done in just about every college in America.

I thought the same thing. But there is actually a page on it stating its non profit. The only cost recoup is for the printing and so on.

Really, its easier for this teacher to write a book with the particular answers he thinks are right and can keep giving the same exams (reworded) over and over not having to think for himself.

You know what I'm saying. Like, it would be easier to work on your truck if you also built it...

Had a college english professor that walked in on the first day of class and gave us the topic "Why am I here", told us to write a minimum of 5 pages of standard text about the topic and walked out of the room.

I proceeded to write a 5 page paper about how he was an *** and didn't know why he was here and used this topic and our responses to formulate reason for his being. After grading the papers he exempted myself and one other student (who had a similar response) from his class for the rest of the semester. Free college credit FTW!
