^^ Hit the nail on the head. I don't care for him as I enjoy Leno, but Fish is right. Some people are too concerned with celebrities because they have nothing going on in their lives. Who cares

It's difficult not to notice when EVERY channel on the tube is talking about it. Then again, you have to wonder about a man who wants to start a family before getting married. It's supposed to go the other way.

Hey now, I had posted earlier, just about the things I had already heard.

Then I just read another, very in depth story about the whole thing.

Now, I'm even more in Letterman's favor. I have to take back my questioning that he might have done this for publicity (although this has certainly gained a bunch of it for him).

Before, I hadn't quite put the whole blackmailing thing together. Now that I have, it seems that if Letterman hadn't just came out and said the stuff he did, it would have probably come out from other sources anyway.

To me, so far anyway, it looks like the bad guy, was the guy that was attempting to blackmail Letterman. I think it would suck to be that guy about right now !

If he were not behaving inappropriately, there would be no reason for anyone to TRY to blackmail him.

I think he deserves a raise, and a trophy. So sick of this "can't do my boss" crap. If my boss is hot, hell yea I'd do her. I just wouldn't be a a P.O.S. and try to extort 2 mill.

Why would they fire him? We currently live in a society that glorifies deviant behavior. Well at least if that behavior is conducted by someone who leans to the left. It's celebrated.

just to put the 2 mil in perspective, letterman makes around $190,000 a show.
so in a month he make more than most us will make in a life time. sorry i just cant feel sorry for him.

so you have to ask yourself, if you fooled around on your wife and you had kids at home, would you work for 11 days to keep the secret or risk your marriage?

with that kind of jack he can keep business and pleasure seperate.

Then he would have to suck it up, close his eyes and take one for the team.
