New tool Box

for work... still a little guy... but when I have this one over filled, than I'll move on up.... Just cant justify $4000 for a box at this point... Rather that buy a quad or down payment on a Cummins

Nice. I'm a Craftsman fan. I have not seen my 7/16 wrench for over a year. Today I was sorting through some old shorts and my 7/16 wrench fell on the ground.

It'll work. Fancy toolboxes don't make money. But they are nice...

The term "overpriced" is silly. The market determines the price; Snap-on believes they can sell a ratchet for $120, and until the market says otherwise, that's what they'll sell for.

Craftsman builds an alright tool, I own a bunch of them. But the customer service in my personal experience is sorely lacking. You're not just paying big bucks for a Snap-on tool, you're paying big bucks for service and support. I can't always get away from work in the middle of a job to scurry down to Sears ten miles across town and get something replaced. I can however call my Snap-on guy, tell them what I got going on, and he'll bring me what I need.

Right tool for the job, and all. I can do a tune up on a 5.4 truck just fine with a $30 Craftsman ratchet, but my $120 Snap-on ratchet with the badass fine tooth head makes things elevenity billion times easier. Easier = quicker = more productive = more money made.

For the guy wrenching on his stuff at home on his free time, or someone getting started in the automotive business, Craftsman is fine. But the high end tool jobbers have their place as well.
