Got a Sony DSC-HX1 for my Bday. It's pretty much what I wanted in a camera. It's not a DSLR but it's right up behind it classified as an "advanced P&S". Pics below arent edited or adjusted, just resized.









Can't wait to find something I can really shoot with it! It has a panoramic mode that is amazing. I'll try n get some examples of it this week.

edit: I'd like to also add that with the exception of the leaf pic I wasn't even aware of the focus settings on it. Once I learn the techniques and all the settings I think I'll be able to get some sick pics .

Here's a good one (unedited) with my D3000 with the standard 15-55mm VR lens... I took this picture at Southern Vermont College yesterday... they had some rustic old buildings and they were rather interesting.
