**Note** this is a gripe/vent thread!!

Well this year has been really up and down and for you all to understand it let me give a quick timeline...

1. 3/6/09- heading to work early (idiot) and a old guy runs a red light 2 blocks from my office and totals my 03 Mach 1 and gives me some nice back pain and missed work.

2. 4/1/09- my PT doc gets the results from an upper MRI and finds a dilation of the ascending aorta and sends me to a cardio doc telling me I'm going to die any second.

3. 4/1/09- I also get the info that I was approved for my brand new 09 F150 Lariat 4x4 SCrew loaded

4. 7/1/09- after lots of tests and missed work (damn PTO goes fast) I'm cleared by cardio doc with no ill effects except now I'm on BP med.

5. 9/1/09- we have a meeting at work and we find out that our hours are cut to 35/wk and this costs me hundreds and cutting one of my paychecks to having only $14 left for food for 2 weeks.

6. 9/17/09- I get the first 35/wk check on this day I also get pulled into the boss's office and am told that my hours are getting cut AGAIN to 21/wk starting 10/8/09 and that they will bring me back fulltime hopefully after New Years

7. 9/24/09- my unemployed 3rd roommate was looking for a job and has finally been hired...woohoo!!

7. 9/25/09- Today I figure out that I might not be able to start the lawn biz I have been wanting to for years (this would be the 3 lawn biz I will have built) unless I can some how sell my project car (mustang) and my 4 wheeler (YFZ 450) ASAP. And to make matters worse I cant make enough at a part time job to pay the bills which is why I am trying to start the lawn biz now.

I know all this is just a repeat of what is happening to everyone right now due to the economy but I just wanted to vent my part of the story. So if anyone wants to buy a quad or a barely started project car let me know...I'll make you a crazy deal on them!! :santa:

What year is your YFZ450?

 

With your hours cut have you filed for supplimental unemployment? Just an idea?

 

I have to admit I have never heard of such a thing. I thought it was all or nothing and you had to be unemployed to get anything.

 

I just noticed you are from Florida and they may or may not offer it there. I remember a buddy of mine that lives there saying their unemployment laws sucked really bad.

2004

it's an 89 4cyl hatchback with factory sunroof but I have completely gutted an 89 GT that was rusted out for the complete running gear, wire harnesses, dash, etc. I gutted the inside of the 4cyl body but have not removed the 4cyl yet.

pm me an offer. I had a link to my sales ad in this thread but it was removed for some reason. I have it listed on cycle trader and on craigslist with pics.

 

YOU CAN get unemployment!!! for florida. go to www.fluidnow.com and file a claim on line. doing it onlin is WAY faster.. I had to use it once. will take you about 3 weeks to get the first check

 

Thank you for the link. But before I jump on that idea I'm going to make sure that that is my last option. I would rather not use that at all if I can help it especially since I do still have a job.

 

Update...

I still have not sold the stuff yet but I have made a couple good connections for some part time work dealing with computers which is what I do for a living. Plus I have been approved for a complete set of lawn care gear including a trailer and I might start a part time lawn biz too. I have done the lawn biz before in a different city but I dont know if I want to jump back into the biz right now. Thoughts anyone?

How so? I ended up getting a huge scare for nothing. But anyway...I just got a pending sale on the mustang w/all of the extra parts. It should be gone this weekend so that only leaves the quad to sell.

 

You mean nobody has told you that the condition wasn't related to the accident?
