Finally got my approval

For bariatric surgery. After almost a year of doctor monitored diet and medical testing I got the approval letter today. I then called the doctor to inform him and set up an appointment for pre-surgery testing and set a date for the surgery itself. When I talked to his nurse, she told me my surgery was already set for Oct. 21, so I was like "Oh really, and just when were you planning on telling me? Anyway, sorry for the long post. I just wanted to vent.

You must be thinking of liposuction, thats where they take weight out. Bariatric surgery is where they reroute the stomach and intestines and then the weight just melts away, you can easily drop 100# a year or more. Before you ask, I'm 6'3" and I'm over 400#

Good luck!

I know someone who had to do it when both their knees went bad, so they had to lose weight.

It was very successful, and the weight came off fast.

Good luck man.

Oh by the way, see if they have some kind of referral program (you know, for every friend you refer, they give you $100 bucks or something)
You will make a killing just from this site, lol.

& don't forget to snarf back your favorite pizza pie before the surgury, because those days will be gone forever, you might want to get one last kick at the cat.
I hope it's a big success free of complications.

Dude if I was 850#'s they would have to cut out the wall on my house to get me out of here, not to mention I could not walk if I were that big. I'm about 440-445 right now, my goal is 250#'s two years down the road.

05Red i am sorry if you thought i was refering to you. I was responding to Habibi's post above and not to you so please don't be offended. Habibi is a large, giant, tubby Canadian guy telling you to pig out before you go under the knife.. i was messing with him.

I hope everything works out well for you and you should post some before and after pics so we can see your results as you lose pounds. I am a fatty also but nowhere as big as Habibi...

I was going to take a cheap shot at you bucky in my original post, but decided to be the classy guy and give you a break this time.

What a mistake I made, lmfao.

I'm sure if there's a Referral program, he will get a double bonus for getting you in there for the lap band (that's if they have a lap band big enough for that big belly of yours.
They may have to go to the elastic band company and get one custom made.

"big tub" fk that was funny!
