Lots of rain here. (PICS)

It's been raining here since Friday, over 6" of rain so far. Here's some pics of a swollen creek that's usually a trickle, swollen pond, some of my flooded backyard, and some more stuff.

Swollen creek and pond, both usually much lower.

Little wash at a local park.

Frog tired of being wet.

Yard. Even the plants are complaining about the rain.

Well over a foot here in areas around Austin too. I know its a big bunch at once, but after nearly 70 days over 100 this summer and nearly no rain, I'll take whatever I can get. Bring it on!

Here in Southern Arkansas, the temp has been unusually low all through August, and we even got more rain than we have in the last few years. It has really been kind of nice here. We used to average over 38 inches a year, up to the last few, and in the last few years the temp have got above a hundred for weeks at a time. This years we had maybe a week in the upper 90's
I love the weather this year, being a swamp rat and all.

Yeah there were some high water rescues here and lots of roadways closed for a period of time. Weird for here.

Stealth I feel your pain. I have dumped out 12.25" from my rain gauge in that same period and I only live 10 minutes south of you.

Yep, we got a lot of rain from this weird late summer weather pattern.
