I concur.

Yup, I agree with paying a tow truck company or just driving it. I would not attempt to tow that thing on a U-Haul. Were you planning on towing with your F-150? That would make for a great bragging rights pic, but that's about it. How did the truck get from MD? Last thread I saw was you broke down in MD and it was in a shop off off 83?

Sounds like driving the truck under its own power is not an option.

I agree with the others a tow truck is a much better choice than a u-haul.

Tow truck... any other option is not worth your time compared to the cost of the tow truck.

I got free towing with my Allstate insurance... I called them today, and explained to them my problem, and I am having it flat bedded back to my house.

And yes, it is still broke. Can I drive it home? Maybe...

I did drive it home from (ockeysville, MD, but it was on its last leg. The last thing I need to do is risk a chance that it will die bringing it back home from 8 miles away and then getting cops involved wondering why I didn't have NYS plates/registration.

Good call Habibi..

so I take it the dealer told you to shove it when you inquired about the broken trans on the way home?
