Gotta show the boy off (riding pics)
A girlfriend of a friend showed up at a buddies practice track and got some cool pictures this weekend. Here's a few of my 13 yr old son. The first one is a new 70' double that was just built that morning that's why the ground is freshly tilled in that area. It was a 4th gear almost pinned jump on an 85.
Sometimes I wonder why the hell I ever bought him a bike. This is also the reason my truck isn't modded.

He's not allowed on a bike without it. In fact, he has to put on a helmet just to ride it around the house to put it up after unloading.
He looks pretty fearless lol. I have always had quads, and only rode a dirt bike a time or two. I think it would be fun to have one to just run up to the old rail road tracks where we all ride and rip on it some.

Great pictures.
me and my son started riding a about a 1.5 years ago. he is doing some 50ft stuff but not 70! he has a honda 150r expert and I have a 450r.
kind of mixed feelings, i want him to have fun and get better but i like it when i see him a little scared.

i lost a great friend last March to a dirtbike accident. he was tired and riding over his head. 5 months latter and we are starting to ride again. knowing your limits is a must. ever time we ride i go over. ride the track 2 times before you pump it up. hold your line and try and be aware of faster riders, if you are tired or fatigued, pull of the track.

Before each gate drop I tell my son, "Love you, don't ride over your head" He always rides under control. Maybe too much so sometimes. But, he's had one broken bone in 6-7 years of racing. That was at practice. He put his foot down and snapped his tibia. Didn't even wreck. I told him next time he breaks a bone I want end over end spectacular!
If you race motocross, it's not a matter of if you're going to get hurt, it's when.
the first time i hit a 90' table i about crapped myself. and then the second time i hit the same 90' table, i about crapped myself again. so i stopped hitting the 90' table.
looks like your kid is having fun. miss my old bike

Haaaaaaaaaaaa, now that's some funny chit!Glad to see a family riding together. My son (started him a little late in my opinion) has a PW50 and started riding at almost 6yrs old. Need to get him on a track instead of trail riding and the back yard.
almost like tables better than doubles or triples, if i come up short it may be a hard landing, but at least i wont have a face / incline to peg.
i like double because i know, pull the throttle. better to go a little long than a little short.
