Saw a MustangKR this morning..

Dropped my truck off to have the rotors turned under warranty at my local dealer this morning and see this setting on the showroom floor.

400 and some miles on it. They only want 75k for it. I might see what they'll give me for my truck on trade when I go pick it up.

Those things are going to remain on the showroom floors unless the dealers get some sense about them. Our big dealer in town has had two of them for several months now. Last time I was in there one of the salesmen said "I'll make you the deal of a lifetime on that GT500KR right there..."
Me - "Yeah? Really? What are you going to do, trade me straight up for my truck?"
Him - "No, I'll give it to you for $80k." (Sticker was about $82k)
Me - "You're smoking crack. I can buy a GT500 for $40k, send it to Shelby and give them another $15k and they'll pop out a KR for me."
Him - "Yeah, but is it a 40th Anniversary Edition?"
Me - "My bad, throw in another $10k... still almost $20k better than you're so called 'deal of a lifetime'..."

Or you will spend your 80k on a Z06 or Viper....

What a deal^^ lol 2grand off.

When I picked up my F150 back in 06 it was when that GT 500 first hit the market. Took the truck up there to finish the paper work etc. There was one sitting outside the front office, had cones around it and stuff lol. My salewomen said it was already sold for 10k over asking price, turned around to see a 19 year old getting in it. I told the women some fella was out there playin in it, she said ahh thats the dude who bought it. Turned out he was 21 his papa bought him a GT 500 lol. Ah wouldn't it be nice to be rich.

Beautiful Car. I dont like what they did to the new ones, squashed front end and the tail lights are horrible now.

If I had a choice between the KR or Dark Horse, there would be no hesitation in the Dark Horse.

$100,000.00 for a Mustang? I think it's good they're only making 25 Dark Horse Saleens. There can't be 25 people in the world stupid enough to spend that kind of money on a tarted up Ford with Steve Saleen's name on it.

They're not going to move any of them until they get real with the prices. The dealership is the only place you'll see them. - Og
