Exclamation I'm moving to Mexico.

Dear Mr. President, Senate and House of Representatives:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family (18-20 mouths) into
Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.
We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico,
and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.
We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration
quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do
here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my
way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need,
whether I use them or not.

3. All Mexico government forms need to also be printed in English.

4. I want my kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual)
teachers.

5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at
their school.

7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to
government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but, I don't plan to purchase
car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local
traffic laws..

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from
their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has
at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U S. flag decals on
my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any
complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have
any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely
nice and never say a critical things about me or my family, or about the
strain we might place on their economy.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for
all his people who come to the U.S. from Mexico.

I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask
him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help,

Sincerely,

US Citizen & Taxpayer

Atentamente,

EE.UU. Ciudadano y Contribuyente

Steve, there's a Canadian stand-up comic by the name of Russell Peters who is Indian and very funny.

Your post reminded me of a bit he did...

So he says "I just returned from my motherland" "No no no, that's right, I'm Indian, so our mother land is England".
Anyhoo, he has all his stuff on youtube, funny as heck.

That cut and paste by turbo was pretty good, really let's you see the perspective from the other side, which for me being a Canadian is very helpful.

One thing about the "Why" this happens,
Doesn't the American gov't turn a blind eye to all this stuff because of the supposed cheap labour the Mexicans provide?
Notice how I said "Supposed" cheap labour? I realize when you factor in the drain on social services, the labour isnt that cheap anymore.

However, from everything I've read, it looks like the Mexican's get used for all the bs jobs such as crop picking, working in slaughter houses, and all the dirty hard jobs nobody wants to do, so the business's who hire these guys put pressure on the govt to leave them alone. Is this accurate?

Well, it's a little more complicated with lots of subplots.

In a nutshell, the business owners need labor, and want it as cheap as poissble. This is especially true in agricultural areas. So the business owners are willing to look the other way (though they can get in big trouble if they knowingly hire illegal aliens).

Liberal politicians like votes just as much as businessmen like cheap labor. In our country, it is illegal for illegal aliens to vote, but enforcement of this is a farce (in California, it is illegal to ask someone for identification when they are voting). Plus if illegal aliens have a baby here, the baby is automatically a citizen (how crazy is that?) and those babies will also likely grow up to vote for liberals.

So its an unholy alliance in many ways, and both sides have incentive not to enforce our immigration laws. Businessmen have long tried to find a way to make the work force stable and legal (a guest worker program, for example), but the liberal forces tend to demand amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens, and the American people do not support amnesty/ citizenship.

BTW, while many illegal aliens do the menial jobs, many of them are extremely hard working, and this is still a land of opportunity. Within a few years/decades/generations, many will own businesses, houses, etc...and the menial jobs will be handled by the newcomers.

And yes, we have way to many Americans who refuse to work menial jobs. As to why, that's another long story...

yeah thatz messed up people invading other people's countries. I hear that same complain with middle easterners, aliens from other countries invading the middle east, killing their people, taking their properties such as land and oil. We Americans don't invade their countries we just try to help them like in Operation Iraqi Liberation (OIL).
