Locked my keys up in the truck by accident. Anyone know if the dealer can cut a valet key for the door??

 

yea. break the window and get ur keys that way

 

I figure that as a last resort. I'm stuck in the driveway, not on the road.

 

thats better. call AAA. they can stick a wire in the truck and pop the lock

 

you could just try and wedge the door open and stick a clothes hanger or something to hit the lock

 

The dealer can cut a door key, however i think it'd be more expensive to go that rout. Try calling your police station, they use to do it for free around here. Or call a wrecker company to pop your door open. But i'd think getting a door key is a more expensive rout.

 

I know I'm probably a little late, but the dealer can cut keys off vin. You just have to pay for like $5 or so. They did it for me for free, but over the phone they said it was $5.

 

Some insurance companies will reimburse you if you call a locksmith. Statefarm did that for me several years ago. I took them my receipt and they cut me a check on the spot.
