Guess what Im making?
I have been thinking about doing this for a while, I finally got a chance to start.
Starting out with a 9.75X9X2 Piece of 7075 aluminum, Drilled and reamed 6 .250 holes.

Starting to look like something.

Done with the 2" cutter, .75 next.

.75 cutter done, .5 next

I still have to engrave it, I spent about 10 hours making these 3 Ar-15 receivers and wanted to be done. It will be a few weeks before i get a chance to cut the other side of the receivers. here are a few other pics

the finish on them feels like a mirror, Its hard to tell in the pics

The piece of aluminum cost $45 dollars which is a great deal, and my work had an open mill and didn't care if i used it. Its legal to make your own firearms. If you can own it you can make it. You are allowed to sell it if you want but I cant make them to sell them, I would need a manufacturing license which can cost around 20K with all the inspections you need.

x2 on the price lol
