What does it matter if he want's to keep playing? I think the retiring and then coming back was stupid, but as long as he wants to play and he is able to, and as long as teams are willing to pay him then I don't see a problem.

I would have rather seen my team sign Brett Favre then waste $49 million on Alex Smith...

I'm betting Favre wimps out for half the season after a few sacks. He's such a little baby. I feel sorry for you Minnesota fans, I really do.

Stealth are you saying that you actually think he's tough or something? I guess you never noticed how after he makes a bad play he will start limping, or if his team is losing badly he will act hurt to get out of the game.

He's going to be 40 years old in October, playing a young man's game. You tell me if he is tough. I guarantee none of the guys here can do what he does on the football field.

How hard is it to throw a ball? He never takes a hit, he shies away from contact. The first time he does take a hard hit this year, he will be hurt, or act hurt, one or the other.

Instead of standing in the pocket and taking a hit, and throwing a good pass, more often than not he will backpedal and throw it half assed. Is it amazing that a 40 year old is playing in the NFL, eh, maybe. I think a lot of guys could, but they hang it up while they are *still in their prime*. Favre missed that boat about 4 years ago. Now he's just being selfish.

There was a stat on Sportscenter I believe that showed all of Minn.'s Qbs, combined, had better stats than Farve did last season.

Now all Stealth needs is Jeff George to make a comeback with the 'skins.

With Farve, it seems as though Minn. put the hard sell on him like they couldn't live w/o him as opposed to Farve being one that couldn't let go.

Jeff George was the biggest waste of talent in NFL history.

I have never liked Favre, so I admit I'm a little biased. But my cowboys are going to suck this year anyway, so for the moment it's all about Cardinals baseball for me

I hear you. But the Cowboys always suck, I'm biased too since I'm a Redskins fan!

Hopefully the Texas Rangers make the playoffs this year.
