Town hall protesters.....

By now we've all seen just how disruptive these town hall protesters are. Of the protesters at these town hall meetings, Nancy Pelosi says that "Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American".

I don't know if you've caught this video yet, of protesters at a Pelosi town hall meeting. You might not recognise the tune Pelosi is singing in this one:

YouTube-Pelosi Tells Anti War Protesters Im a Fan of Disruptors

So, to those of you who take issue with the people who protest at these town hall meetings because all they can get from their representatives is platitudes, are you ok with the "consistant" message that our law makers have? Are there different standards depending on the subject, or is it something else that prompts this double standard?

They're all being unproductive douche bags by interrupting whats going on. Want to do something? Campaign like hell against Representative/Senator ________. But screaming out like a 3 year old at walmart is disgusting.

Not that i agree or disagree, but what are they disrupting? a blow hard politician? how else are they supposed to get on TV and voice there displeasure? What productivity was going on at this speech?

the people that run for Representative/Senator spend millions of dollars and can afford tv spots, adds, and have people on the payroll to campaign all day long. How in they he!! are normal people suppossed to let politicians they are not happy know they are unhappy?

Disrupting the info session. How do you get on TV? *shrug* Buy TV space? Start a PAC. Give money to a PAC. Help out a PAC by volunteering to call/walk/etc. Write the Rep/Sen, visit the office, camp outside the office. Vote. Get friends to vote. Register people to vote, and then get them to go out and vote. Disseminate useful information in a presentable manner about the contents of the healthcare bill (i.e. it promotes racism, increases bureaucracy, etc).

I dunno, just a few ideas about being productive, and effective.

How is that disrupting an 'information session' when the windbag politicians haven't even read the bill, much less even understand what the hell is in the bill to begin with? That alone is reason to voice opinion.
