at the fire house today to be a volunteer fire fighter. should hear back in the next couple days, they started classes last week and are trying to get me and my friend into the classes and said they will catch us up.

You still wanna meet up Next Saturday (22nd) and look around UTA once more?

 

i can always switch fire houses, if i do decide to move for college, but as of right now ill be at the one right down the street from me.

im really leaning towards UofH just because i like where i live now, but i want to check UTA out once more because i really did like the campus alot and just dont want to make a mistake like i did at auburn.

ya that will work, im putting in my off request for work tomorrow and long as my parts are done by the 21st ill be up that way to get them and plan on staying and coming home late saturday night most likely.

 

OK. I'm still not sure if I will be heading up there Friday or Saturday. All depends on how laggy I feel from my overnight flight back from Maui the Thursday before.

Once I get settled into my apartment I plan on taking the first responder classes. I was going to take them this summer but with vacation and stuff I just didnt have enough time. 2 of my good friends are taking them and just completed the extraction/life flight/simulation drills. I may join a VFD as well once I complete the first responder course.

 

That's great news.. When I was younger I was on a fire department, and it was a great learning experience for me.. They will pretty much take anybody.. Have fun a be safe..

im planning on moving out in the spring if i can find a room mate. im in no rush really right now.

nah, just figured it would be something fun to do and give back, and teach me some good skills i have forgotten since boy scouts and alot more. im in school right now for Mech engineering.
