Hello I am a new member. We have an 02 4 door 5.4 v8 f150, got it brand new has been a great family dayly driver. I have always been into tunning cars in the past so i thought it was about time i got a truck. I would like to get a used v8 f150 and do intake headers and exhaust. any tips on lookin for a truck or good aftermartket parts would be a big help!

yeah we are probably goin to keep the truck we have its actually my dads truck. I drive it from time to time. He told me i could have it but it is to beefy for me lol I want a smaller truck I can mod up and use for my lawn care servic.

 

one things nice i still have my flash device from my escort. I can use it on my truck after i get it reflash.

ok guys so what kind of intake and headers should I look for? I was going to run my owe 3in duel exhaust to go along with that. I should save on that exhaust kits are over rated I think.

 

welcome. if your looking to save some money id go with the "GOTTS" intake mod. alot of ppl here have done it and its cheap and effective.

 

yea i did something like that with my car at first i got some car junk to get rid of like rims with tires and stuff would help me out big with a payment on the truck
