I bet you could sell a '98 F150 4x4 for about $4K. Hunting season is coming up, someone's bound to need a truck to thrash around in the woods with. Instead of a perfectly good vehicle being blowed up, it'll get reused by someone else, and you can have cold, hard cash in your hand to put down on a new car. Win/win.

take everything out and drive it on a milk crate and a 4 banger ranger motor
sell the grill, head lights, tail lights, tail gate, tow hitch , mirrors, strip the interior, basicly any part people are willing to give some $$$ for so you can get a lil more ahead
the $4500 is guaranteed so give as little as possible and help some people out by allowing them to get your parts for cheap since your truck is gonna be destroyed anyway
