Need some jack help

Ok, so I borrowed my buddy's 3ton floor jack last night so I could change the brakes this morning. Go to put it under the truck and it lifts all the way to the frame, then stopped. I take it out stand on it and try, it doesn't even budge. It's a basic craftsman 3ton floorjack, and I made sure the screw was tightened. The weird part is it will still lift with no weight on it

Need help, or another jack

Either the jack is all the way extended, or it needs new seals. My jack came with an extra set of seals.

It's not fully extended, but I think your right on the seals, he better not blame me for that. Oh well, half way done on the brakes now so no more worries.
