Ford motors in super cars

I was watching the SPEED channel last weekend. they were showing what they called super cars driving through the hills of north CA. I'm not up on these cars were sper light weight and had Ford 3.0L & 4.2L SVT motors with turbos turning out unGodly amounts of HP. Was pretty cool to see advanced tech every where else in the cars but with Ford motors.

Maybe someone else can enlighten.

Ford / vovlo makes all the engines for Land Rovers, incuding the new 5.0 in both N/A and S/C

before that it was a Jaguar 4.4 N/A and a 4.2 V8 S/C
