i understand that florida has a non resident ccw that is reciprocal with 22 other states. of course nj is not one of them.

this is a nice site that has some interactive maps off to the left side.http://www.usacarry.com/

Most states reciprocate with MS which is nice. I'm right next to Memphis also. They just installed metal detectors down on Beale St. I never went down there anyway except for the occasional Redbird or Grizzly game.

My mom is a 67 year old mother of 5 and grandmother of 11, and she is getting hers this year.

She lives in North Carolina, and has been going to the range a lot.

My dad died in January, and she does not want to be defenseless or relying on others for her protection. She had very limited shooting experience before, but now she really enjoys it as a hobby.

She recently stepped up from the two .22 LR pistols (an auto and a revolver) to a .357 Ruger Blackhawk, shooting 38 special. She LOVES the Ruger. She's got a few others in 9mm and .45 to play with, too, and plans on trying them all out.

i fully plan on getting the 380 from my parents, just because the 9mm i can get is so damn heavy...

after that guy pulled the action back on his 22 rifle and said he was gonna shoot my ***, yeah i lost my tolerance for that right there... if i didnt think he was on meth i figure my 4d maglight would've equalized his face to the ground. now i feel the need for a small pistol, a pump shotgun and a ar15 for them yotes

I am glad to see that the American people are voicing their intent to protect the 2nd ammendment. These politicians already had a healthy fear of the NRA, but now we see that many more people than just those who are NRA members still will vote to protect their right to self defense.

My .357 magnum weighs just 13oz. Just something to consider

my s and w 686 weighs 40 ounces and the kick is tolerable. not to bad but more than my glock 21s .45. cant imagine what the kick is with that light gun with the short barrel. but then close up the sucker would never even see it since its so small. in the words of gomer pyle surprise, surprise, surprise.
