My neighbor has a truck just like that but black. About 2 weeks ago I see him backing up to an evergreen bush in his backyard. So I walk over to check it out. He ties onto this bush and starts to pull. Bush doesn't budge. When the tires broke loose in the grass, the truck started to get wheel hop. I thought the bed was literally going to fall off the truck. I asked him if he had any fillings left in his teeth.

 

I was about to say. Your truck looks 10 times better than that Dodge.

 

Ha sorry guys, had to do it. There is no way I would trade for a Dodge. I test drove one at Carmax before I test drove the F-150 and it was very similar to this one (a year older). It was chuggin' about 12 mpg on the highway during the test drive.

It's not a bad truck by any means, but IMO isn't near as nice as the F-150. Doesn't match the looks or interior. The F-150's interior is waaaay nicer than this one, although I have the FX4 luxury package so I don't know if that makes a difference. About the only plus side is that there's more leg room since there's no flow-through console. But there's no flow-through console for storage.

Rides smooth but is a little jumpy at times. From a red light I'll lightly hit the gas and it will creeeep along. To pick up the pace to avoid pissing those behind me off I'll give it just a hair more gas and it jumps on me. Drives like my Grandma's Camry.

Almost forgot--every time I get in it and start it up it shoots me a few beeps and says "Change Oil" below the odometer.


I think I'll stick with you guys for now.

Aw man that Dodge looks awesome. I've actually been thinking about switching as well. Maybe I'll try going with the black on black look this time around. Congrats!
