well ive been looking for a good flashlight for a while now, and after looking through many forums i found the Brinkmann Maxfire LX to be the best for the price. only problem is they discontinued them, but i just happened to find one at academy for $20. by far the best flashlight i own right now, and it will mount on the end of my 870.

You can never go wrong with a mag light.

I've got the Surefire 6P LED and 9P incandescent with the P91 lamp here.
Best bang for your buck would be the 6P LED, long run time and VERY bright.

google Bust a cap. they make a nice little addition to a big maglite
No kidding! If you buy THAT battery in the drug store (admittedly expensive), they run right at $10. EA.! I can't imagine where he bought Duracell 123 lion for $4. for 3 of 'em even if he bought a hundred at a time. There are some sources where you can buy them online an 12 to a carton for a half way decent price, but not that cheap. That's not all folks, he used a Kripton bulb and if you've ever had anything that uses them, you know they can eat batteries like there is no tomorrow. That's the reason they're so bright, who could afford the batteries they'd eat. I used to have 3 or 4 flashlights that used them, and I gave them away for that very reason. I have about 8- 3 "D" cell Mag's and 2- 3 cell "C" Mag's and a gazillion 2AA mags, and I rarely ever use any of them any more. I have 3 Streamlight rechargeable (the ones that are between a 2AA and a D cell. They are small and extremely bright and literally almost bullet proof. They are not cheap but they are 1 of the most rugged FL's I have ever seen. Dropped 1 off the top of the MH a few days ago, went down and picked it up and couldn't see where it hit.
