Computer guys....

I want to transfer my iTunes onto my laptop. However I have heard that it is a fairly large program that needs a lot of computing power. I don't want my comp to run like crap with it there, because my desktop already runs like crap and thats where all my music is.

My laptop has 98.2 GBs of free space, and I have 6.02 GB of music.

Thoughts?

it'll be fine. itunes isnt really a large program, the installation file is less than 100mb. it shouldnt make your computer lag any more than something like windows media player.

Are you using it to listen to music exclusively off your PC? Or for Iphone/Touch/Ipod management?

If you just use it to manage music, try Foobar. It is extremely resources easy and runs easily on a 800MHZ machine.
