Looks like this will be a good group. How long yall been playin. Ive been dong it 5 years now.

 

This will be my 4th year doing it. I've actually started to get to the point where I can now watch FOOTBALL agian and not players. The first two years it killed the football season for me. All I did was watch my players and didnt enjoy the game. Since then I've eased up and became a little wiser to the whole FF thing.

 

I still hate when the day comes and you know you want your starting running back to run for 300yards and 4 TD's except its against your favorite team.

My favorite day is when that happens and MY Texans win. But.......thats has never happened

 

I hear ya man. You think will (Texans) have a decent squad this year. The past couple years weve looked good on paper...but thats it. Hopefully we will be able to play 4 quarters of football this season and not just 3 or so.

 

I don't even know who to go after this year. Can we try and establish it so that everybody is actually GOING to be there for the draft? I hate auto drafting.

 

I'll be there. Last season there were a few live draft no shows.

 

The draft is live. If others get on to do it is a different story. No shows get an auto draft and the comp drafts for them. I have been doing this for 4 yrs now. Onle won one league so far. I play 4-5 teams a year. I also do basketball. Haven't done anything after last football season. Deployments make it hard to keep up with all the roster changes needed to stay competative. I am glad we got a group together. A lotta fun and smack talk.

 

I have done it for about 7 or 8 years now. Usually I have between 2 or 3 teams. It can be difficult to keep up with and frustrating when you find yourself rooting against your favorite team.

RP, it only takes 10 minutes a week to set a lineup. You really do have a good a chance as any to do well as long as you don't start players that are on bye or injured and out.
