Bruno...

anybody else seen this? I went to see it yesterday and it is the first time I have ever left a theatre early. people describe this movie as "offensive" but thats really not the right word. every other scene is him having gay sex and ******. if you were thinking about seeing it, don't.

What did you expect, it's a movie about a queer Austrian, and the guy who plays Bruno is the same guy who played Borat.

There was more super gay stuff than I expected. Some of the scenes were crazy gay.

Aside from that, there was a lot of funny stuff.

After I tried to watch borat and didn't make it through it, I'm not even going to bother with this one.

Good. I think it looks incredibly stupid. I hate the guy who plays that role, and how he has to pretend he actually is that person for the first month that movie comes out when he goes to talk shows and is on TV. I think the act is getting pretty old.

I went Friday. I haven't laughed that hard in a while, but there were parts of that movie that were very uncomfortable to see. I'd say a quarter of the people in the theater got up and left, but the rest of us sick pukes stayed and laughed our asses off.

Is it a good movie? Nah. No more so than Borat was. The funny part is the reactions he gets from the people that aren't in on the joke.

I've never even considered seeing this movie. I honestly don't understand why anyone would but I guess some people just like that stuff. I rarely ever agree with the reviews Entertainment Weekly has in it's pages on movies and this one is no different. EW gave it an A-. I know people that really want to see it and I just can't help but shake my head.
