Camping trip
We just got back from a trip to Mt. Pocono. It was a good time, despite the rain. Got a chance to test the new tent, as well as the new camera (Nikon D90 - boy, do I have a lot to learn...). The tent faired pretty well, but will need a couple of seems sealed. We had some very heavy rains, which resulted in a couple of small leaks around the bottom edges. I had 9 people counting on it to stay dry, so I ended up tarping over it as well as 2 of the 4 other tents we had set up. We had a total of 23 people camping with us, which is a record for me. I was very pleased with the turnout, given the bad weather. We had a couple of great camp chefs on hand, so we ate some of the best camp food I have ever had, and washed it down with our favorite beer. As you can see, we had plenty of dry areas to party in while it rained, then when it cleared up, we hung by the fire.

Thanks all, I wish I had known enough about the camera to do some more creative stuff. I am learning more as I practice with it. The aerial pics were shot from an extension ladder that I brought along for tieing up the tarps. I tied the 40' tarp that we used for a pavillion 20+ feet up in the trees. I had to use a plastic coated steel dog run cable for that one.

Frickin good hash browns!

I actually scrambled and cooked 72 eggs in one batch in this pan using a turkey fryer base for some serious BTU's.
