Red face Well.... my fun is almost over?!?

They will install photo-radar PITA things on our autoroutes here! I admit to driving fast at times such as 180km/h in a 100km/h zone but 100km/h (60mph) is too damn slow! I mean come on! Cars today are meant to go way faster than that!!! I'm not one to put people's lives in danger; when I speed, I do it when I have the space and time to do it. I never follow a car too close etc...

But now photo-radar? come on! At least they say they will put big signs to warn us... So then maybe if I find a way to flip my plates at a push of a button when in a radar zone LOL Oh and paint a F-U on the other side hehehe

Okay so I'm ranting and... well okay bye! Got to go before the coffee and other things ware off

Cool

Actually they have these license plate cover's that you can buy that are sensitive to reflection so that when there's a flash (like that of a multinova camera) it say's F U or has a circle with a line through it... I've seen a couple different styles. I live in Calgary and kojak is alway's out with his kodak. Just gotta look out for a brand new vehicle sitting on the side of the road with no flasher's on =)

Eph, just make believe you're driving in a rally. Figure out what the driving time should be at speed limit and see how close you can come to it. Then, when you get it down to the second, you can celebrate by allowing yourself one all out day of driving and subsequent tickets.

Steve,

Will they be on the side of the road or on the overpasses?

Regards

this is the kind of big brother crap that you get with liberal socialism. i hate to admit it but our country's heading down the same path. dont get me wrong, i think that speed limits are justified and should be enforced, but not in this way... next thing you know they'll be tapping all your phone lines and putting video cameras in private residences, and then can you really call yourselves a democracy???

ok check this out... theres a company named Chimera, out of Connecticut. They make license plate covers that you can look from exactly behind and see the license plate no problem, move 2-3 feet to one side or the other and your license plate is pitch black. Great for those guys that sit on the curbs. Let me know if you want the contact information.
