I wonder what's up with mine. I have the decal "OFF ROAD" and the fog lights, but nothing else. No skid plates, no 17" wheels. Maybe the dealer just put the decal on? The truck was originally sold in Canada. I'm the second owner.

I have 4X4 but without the ORP. I believe that with the ORP you also get heavier springs in the rear, or 3 inch ones instead of 2 1/2 inch?
someone help me out here

Didn't the ORP trucks come with 17" rims too, or am I confusing the rims with another truck?
I never got the ORP package because I never saw the need for the extra weight of the skid plates. Had them on my '87 and I think those suckers cost me at least 1 mpg and I never once went anywhere that even came close to scraping the plates and they were a PITA when doing maintenance. Not fun removing them to get at what's above it. LOL. Now that I think about it, I should have just took them off and put them back only when I absolutely thought I needed the protection.

Ok guys-
i was thinking about getting the ORP sticker and putting it on my truck cause it looks cooler liek that. I DO have 4X4. Do you guys think thats stupid, or am i gonna get made fun of because i dont have the package?
thanks
Brian
P.S. dont make fun of me yet...i didnt get the sticker yet!

no one can tell you have the ORP from a distance. If someone crawls under your truck in a parking lot to check and starts yelling that you are stupid for putting the decals on feel free to run him over
Plus you get the fogs on 1999 and newer truck when you get the 4x4 pkg. If you don't have them I reccomend them... but get a new airdam and some PIAAs or some KC Daylighters. helps you see in the ditches for animals about to dart out.
Just my Opinion use at own risk

You are correct Dennis, the ORP comes with 17" aluminum sport wheels. I painted the inside of mine to match the truck.
Barto, there is not an "off-road" **** patrol looking for infiltrators, so be my guest. The decals dress up the truck nicely.

Jimmar-I think i like your idea...if anyone is that picky to check if i do have the skid plates, they should be run over. Also, i have a 98, i like the bumper on mine better than the 99s and newers because mine is all chrome, with the fogs cut into them. I do already have two 150 watt KC daylighters...they are awesome, i highly recomend them to anyone.
Nolimits-Nice truck! i like the hood! I think im going to get the stickers, they do make the truck look better.

I'll keep the sticker in place however!
Hell, I took my stickers off!
