There is me, and one other person I know of on this board that live in Colorado that are active. I'm constantly trying to get people to get together for a bbq or hooters or whatever, no one ever wants to, LOL. I'm just spoiled by my explorer group, where we've got about 20 people in the Denver area and it doesn't take much to get everyone together

Hey Troy67,

I live in fabulous Arvada, CO and work in Louisville. Mattbert stopped by my house a few months ago but I haven't had time to get together since then - I just started a new job and have some other commitments that seem to take up all my time.

I was in Co. Springs just last week - my wife actually agreed to go 4-wheeling with me as long as she got to pick the route. We drove up the Rampart Range road (not exactly 4-wheeling if you ask me) and stopped at the reservoir so the dog could swim and cool off.

Your truck is very unique - I like the look. Maybe if we can make some time later this summer we can all get together and talk trucks.

hey why don't you guys send me your emails? Next time I'm having a BBQ or something I'll shoot out some emails. You can shoot me an email at matt@explorerforum.com
Plus I just turned 21 yesterday, so now we can go to bars and stuff! LOL.

Howie, don't feel bad, I once got stuck four-wheeling on rampart range road. Although it was my first time four-wheeling, and there was 3 feet of snow!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the replys. I work for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and we are having our tech day (where we tech all the race cars) on June 24th. at the Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs. We have a few clubs showing up to show there vehicles a little, and I thought it would be good if we could get some folks together to show our trucks a little. Let me know what you all think. E-mail me @ tcarden@si-intl.com.
Thanks, Troy

mattbert, it's more of an informal gathering of a couple of clubs. if it's rough it's o.k. also the dyno from superflow will be out there. like i said it's all informal.

I thought it would be a good reason for a few of us to meet. I have to work most of the day doing safety and rule compliance on the cars, but it is still a lot of fun. Last year a buddy had his 6?? h.p. Porsche racer out there, plus a few local T/A's showed. I'll post a map giving directions.

Thumbs up

Congrats on turning 21, Matt. Now you can legally get drunk and drive! Wait, that doesn't sound right...

Troy, have you got any more information on the show? Unfortanetly right now my trucks got a bit of body damage so it isn't exactly "showable" and I doubt I'll have it out of, or even into the body shop by then. Who knows though, anything is possible (or I can show it as is and show what a rugged off-road vehicle it is LOL). That would give me a good excuse to buy some new bigger tires... hmm...

June 24 is free for me. I will do my best to meet you guys down there. Sounds like fun!! The truck needs a good detailing anyway so that will give me an excellent reason.

I would like to get my truck on the dyno and see what it can do. How much does it cost??

Matt - happy 21st! The first pint is on me whenever we go to Hooters or whatever - just don't tell my wife.
