Improved standing in the world???

I don't know if anyone here remembers last year (seems like eons ago), presidential candidates claiming that they would improve our (USA's) standing in the world after eight years of the evil, hate mongers causing the rest of the world to hate US with a passion never before seen? Now, we're in an area of "hope and change".

So, what about our standing in the world today? Has the "great uniter" accomplished what he'd told voters he would do? Are we feeling the love now? Do we need our president to appoint a czar to make the world like us?

give the man a break. he's been in office 5 months. **** takes time.

it's not all on him either. think about your friendly congress as well. the president does not have absolute power.

wasn't a big fan of obama during his campaign, but at least i'm willing to give the guy a chance.

I thought Obama was a complete idiot when he was running for office. He got elected and being the fair kinda guy I am, he deserved the chance to prove me wrong. He did not disappoint- he's an idiot! Without a doubt, the worst President to ever hold the office. That's probably why his ratings are plunging. He has already done more damage than Truman did to the Japanese by using the atomic bombs only obama dropped the bombs on you, your children, and yer grand children. Just wait until the dollar is worthless....and it's coming to your neighborhood and soon.

Now that's funny!
When people ask me how I like working for President (Presi-Pimp) Obama now I say "I STILL WORK FOR PRESIDENT BUSH". Then I get the blank stare with a confused look. It's easy to understand values, principles, and a common way of doing things so what happened. Can we continue to cripple ourselves in this manner. Why is everything that he says the way it's gonna be, I mean before becoming President who the ******* was he, a nobody and even with the title of President of the United States of America-owned by China he's still a nobody. A celebrity yes but not a man I would trust with such great responsibilities such as running OUR country. I was at the Tea Party in Atlanta and some guy was holding a sign that said "I voted for Change, can I change my mind". What is the fascination with this guy and why do people just fall at his feet ? I'll never understand, but then again I'm a Soldier so I'm not saying any of this right now.

Our standing has improved so much that N Korea is planning on sending Hawaii a 4th of July present. Just so happens the plan is to launch this "gift" on a rocket. Who would have ever guessed that Obama couldn't sit down with all these dictators and heal the world?

What you are seeing with our economy is a planned changing of the world order. Similar to 1991 when the former Soviet Union collapsed.

Internationalists want "no nation to be above another nation", as Obama put it. Americans' standard of living will be diminished long term. This is what we get for worrying more about who won the football game than who is in charge in D.C.

Go to www.cfr.org and read up.

Do you seriously believe that stupid propaganda? That would be suicide on N Korea's part and they know it and we all know it. It doesn't matter who's in office, if Hawaii gets attacked then we will them up. End of story.

Your statement makes no sense. How can one extrapolate hate from the first post?

This is a political debate thread. Debate has been healthy for the Republic for over 200 years. Let's be more careful throwing around the word "hate" next time.

There is no way you can call him the worst president ever after 5 months. It infuriates me when someone tells me they think he is the best ever, so ya can't think he is the worst. Do I think that he will end up being the worst.....absolutly.

Sure he has changed the way that the world looks at us, it just came at the price of security. It came at the price of Capitolism. You name it. The man is hurting this country, most likely to the point of no return in my lifetime or my childrens.

I agree. I may not have voted for him, but he is our President and I do support him. For now.
