According to this article Ford, GM and Chrysler had better wake up or the same thing that has and continues to happen to them in the car market, will happen in the truck market too.

Great news. My wife has her first appointment on her 01 Taurus today due to a banging transmission. Honda and Toyota's quality has waned some in recent years but they have at least mastered transmissions. I am disappointed, this Taurus seemed like real competition for a Camry, before this. Hopefully it is something small. I don't see foreign trucks as a real threat, yet. A few more media reports on crash tests will probably help that.
