Flimsy tow hooks on GM trucks
Pulled a Z71 from a hole this morning and broke one of his tow hooks on the front of his truck. These hooks look cheap compared to the f-150 hooks. I know they have the Z71 package but man they could use better hooks on the front of the trucks. Anyone else noticed this?

Funny you should mention this. A guy I work with has a 2000 Z71 and he tore his whole lower air dam off this past weekend off-roading. Anyways, it leaves the hooks entirely exposed. They are about half as thick as ours and they ar helh on by one bolt that goes horizontally through the hook. It looks like the hook could pivot up and down.
