Post What a racing day!!!

I love it...got up at 5:00AM and watched The Formula 1 race at Monaco, then caught the Indy 500, followed by NHRA at Topeka. Now, I'm watching the Coca Cola 600 from Humpy's place...All day and I'm loving it. Best of all, Gordon got crashed and now he's running last.

P.S. picture-in-picture on a big screen helps a lot.

Know what you mean Marv1. Spent Friday night at a local dirt track, got up Saturday and went to the NHRA in Topeka and stayed there at night and watched the dirt trackers there. Then the Indy 500 and the 600 at night.

It was a great weekend for racing. Spent all day Saturday at Topeka and then hours at Hooters on Sunday watching the Indy 500 and Coca Cola 600.

Yes I watched Indy and the 600 I bet Tony slept well last night after racing 1100 miles I thought it was funny how he spun out on the 2nd lap of the 600 and glad to see Jeff Burton get his first win of the season.

I'm lucky.... being on the east coast I only have to get up at 7 to catch the F1 races.

I've never been big on Monaco. No place at all to pass, DC dealt with a 2 second per lap slower car and couldn't get past.

Looks like Mclaren is in trouble for the year if the reliability problems keep up. With only a few cars and drivers able to really compete, it really hurts when the cars keep going south. Looks like MS has a good shot at number 4.

You'll be hurtin, though, when the F1 cars go east across the Pacific...the races start at 11:00PM for me in Calif but for you it's sleepy time. Thank goodness for same day replays. I like Shumi and really don't care for DC but I must admit that DC showed a lot of class by pulling over to let the leaders pass.
P.S.If I got paid 34 million per year, I could run with them boyz!

I never really liked Mika H. but NOBODY deserves this much bad luck. If Bernoldi had not spent so much time blocking I think D.C. would have challenged for the lead.
I've liked Shumacher since his days with Benneton, the fact that he beat all of the V10s and V12s of the day in a Ford V8 really impressed me.
Indy. I wonder if Tony George, Foyt and Cheever and sitting around trying to figure out a way to keep the CART guys out of next year's 500? And it looks like Al Jr. and Hakkinen are cosmically connected: WHAT LOUSY LUCK.
Didn't watch the 600, I finally had to get up off the couch ... I ran out of chips and dip.
