Angry ATT - Con Artists of Long Distance

Whats up with ATT ??
Back in January an ATT telemarketer calls me and offers me 120 free minutes per month for 6 months with 9 cents a minute after that.
So beliving I had a pretty good deal I signed up.
I made my free calls for 3 months then I get a bill from ATT for $30 !!!!
They were charging me like for the calls and back dated them to January !!!
I called ATT abouit this and they indicated to me that I called my local service provider and had them swithc it and they had no record of any telemarketer calling me.
I talked to a least 5 "customer service managers" and they basically told me tough luck.
So I called Bellsouth (local service provider) and they confirmed that it was "carrier mechanized" transfer.
Then I called the public service commission, low and behold the lady form ATT called and dropped the charges but wouldn't give me my 120 free minutes a month unless I was going to pay a $5.00 month service fee !!!
So I canned ATT went with www.longdistance.com 7 cents a minute 24 hours a day plan with NO MONTHLY FEE oe MINUMUM SERVICE charge.
Damn ATT and thier lies and service charges.
The next ATT telemarketer that calls me is certianly going to get an earfull !!!!
Just thought I would forewarn you guys about ATT's deceptive telemaketing practises !!!
Anybody else have any long distance horror stories from ATT or anybody else ??

hey i was a ATT telemarketer
i remember that deal oh so good because it sold easy
at that time for every sale u made you got $10.50 where i worked

so the more you sold the more money you made

the $5 isnt actually a monthly fee it is a monthly minimum
basically you have to spend $5 worth or get charged $5 anyways if you make mored than $5 in calls then that fee is waived

since you got free minutes you would have to talk alot to get rid of those and then spend $5 worth

it is actually a great deal for people that dont talk much long distance as long as you dont have the free minutes

believe it or not eh free minutes are what screwed you over

if you have any questions feel free to ask and i will tell you person to person what they lied about...lol i dont work there anymore i can tell there secrets....
