WooHoo Hawaii!

Just found out I'm being sent out to Hawaii for a week long dive project at Pearl Harbor!

I've never been, anyone know any cool places to check out while I'm there?

The USS Arizona memorial is pretty neat. Also hit up Waikiki beach.

BRAH! if your goin' to play tourist with your Hawaiian shirt, white shorts and tennis shoes, fuji camera around your neck and that dumb white fishing hat, then i suggest
1.Polynesian cultural center
2.Northshore aka the"Banzai pipeline"
3.Pearl Harbor
4.Pali cliff
5.Diamond Head
6. oh, and for you tourist "LUAU" you know the the pig with an apple stuffed in it's mouth event and ect.

But if like the WAHINE'S that's women in Hawaiian Brah! look no further than your local beaches. but beware only looky the local girls cause they probably belong to some big A** Hawaiian or Samoan like myself, so if you go from looky to try touchy, you will get a local Polynesian beat down BRAH! well anyways enjoy yourself and MAHALO and ALOHA!

Hawaiian Boy's list has some great spot's to visit. Add "Hotel Street" to make your trip complete! The Arizona Memorial and the Missouri is a must see although when I was at Hickam AFB year's ago the Missouri wasen't there. Have fun!

Nice! If I were you and had some time to kill, I would got to Hale'iwa, its North shore, but just a sweet little local beach and town. Waimea Bay hosts the world Surfing championships every year, its also one of the deadliest breaks in the world. You wont see a whole lot of big waves since it summer, but its a cool place. Sky dive out of Dillingham Airfield, they take you out over the ocean, you jump and then land next to the runway, its freakin amazing!

Anyway, there is tons to do, so I'm sure you will keep busy.

go snorkeling, i think you can also visit a volcano.

i went there about 10 years ago or so, but i have a vivid memory of pearl harbour, especially the Arizona memorial, it is quite something.

however the rest of my memories from there consist of the following- discovering syrup on scrambled eggs is pretty good, one of my sisters getting lost, and my other sister getting very sick.

x2 Pearl Harbor is amazing! It'll be a very surreal experience. Enjoy your time there. The entire island is beautiful.

Honolulu is simply a big US city, nothing special, get out of the city.

I love US history, i could spend weeks in D.C.. However Pearl Habor was not what I was expecting. Maybe you will like it. I mean no disrepect, i can appreciate what happened there, i just wouldnt spend a day there, same for the polynesian center, went there and it just seemed like a tourist attraction.

The most fun we had was on Kauai doing the captain zodiac boat ride. i think they have one on Oahu. That and taking a sailboat excursions and simply driving down the coast line stopping at beaches.

i wouldnt waste time on fine dining or any tours. Truely a place to enjoy the laidback lifestyle and the beauty of nature,

When i go back i will go staight to Maui or Kauai
