What's in a name?

Okay! What the [insert expletive] does your name mean and how'd ya' get it?

Me? I'm Ransome123. Ransome is my dog's name. Picked 'em up at the pound and my wife and I tried to think up a name. She came up with ransome from a character in a fiction/fantasy book series called Nine Prince's of Amber. We both agreed and he was named. Thing was... It turns out a few weeks later we both realize the name in the book was not Ransome at all, but rather Random. Ransome was too perfect though so we didn't bother switching it. As for the 123... Believe it or not someone else actually had the name ransome on Earthlink. Who'da thunk it

That's my story and I'm, Stickin' to it.

Doug

Before I came to F150 Online I played card games on the net. I along with most other 'Americans' thought that we had an advantage over other cultures when it came to gambling, bluffing, etc... I decided to use this view to my advantage and became Raoul Obaganzee of Turdsmania and you'd be surprised how many people out there ask me where Turdsmania is. Raoul has done much better at cards than 'Rod' could ever have done.
Besides, Raoul is a cool name and I will definitely have the turban and shades working at the rally.

Heh. Interesting topic.

Mine comes from a poem I've been trying to pound out for the last 10 years.

Been using it for about that long as a callsign. Quite funny how people react to it. Most common mistake is to mis-read it as identity. Used to use Cthulhu but that was a bit trite, so I came up with this.

Cool

Just 'cause my brother inlaw (who is a total GM fan) asked why I bought a Ford ! He's a good example why parents shouldn't let their kids play with plastic bags.

Scadien is what you call somebody in the S.C.A. (Society for Creative Anachronsim), also known as "Those Medieval Nuts". The main reason I wanted an 8' bed with a cap was for hauling around archery targets, pavilions, trebuchets, enough food and cookware to feed 100 people from a campfire, enough medieval clothing to last my girlfriend through a week of camping, etc.
