I just saw on the news tonight about a guy that owns an old VW Beetle. According to the news this cas has over 800,000 miles on the odometer. He's aiming for 1,000,000 miles.

Wonder if he uses synthetic oil?

In case you ask, my hobby is entomology, or insects.

The amazing thing about old VWs is that they didn't have an oil filter!

Dennis - yep no oil filter.

I wonder how many times the engine was rebuilt?
