hey yall, im a construction science major at texas a&m, but they're gonna start this thing where we can go to purdue for a semester, but i really dont know anything about purdue or that part of the country. just curious if anyone had any comments?!?!?

I went to the Purdue Campus in Northwest In. The main one is in W. Lafayette. I commonly went W. Lafayette for B-ball and football games. It is a cool town if your 21 as klaibs27 said. People were always friendly and polite and I always ended up at a party with people I just met. It is also a very good school.

 

I hear tell there's a guy there by the name a Frank. Grows some mighty fine chickens, I tells ya.

 

J_rock, I did research last summer at purdue. It's in West Lafayette, In, about and hour or so from Indianapolis and about two hours from Chicago. It's a pretty fun town if you're 21, there's a lot of cool bars and such. I'm actually going there for grad school as well starting in June. Let me know if you end up going and maybe we can play some golf or something. In the summer, it gets pretty muggy but being from texas, you should't have a problem.
